Forward planning!

Following a fairly quiet Summmer, I have a few pieces of work planned, plus one I've just started.

First up is a scene from Napier, New Zealand showing an hotel frontage. Next, I have a canvas prepared for a small portrait of a distant young relative (more on this when I get started).

A large project I have taken on is to re-paint the sign board for Merrow Village Bowls Club. The board is 8x4 feet and the brief is to reproduce what is already there. I've never tackled signwriting before, so this will be quite a challenge. Fortunately, I can paint the sign in my garage over the Autumn/Winter. I shall post pictures as I go along. Wish me luck!
